G2 students will be learning their unit of inquiry on how we express ourselves in their homerooms. The central idea from UOI is "Images and print are used to express meaning". In order to integrated with this UOI, students will explore Chinese calligraphy. They will experience how they are going to hold "Mao Bi 毛笔 “ and also write some pictography characters. In the end of the UOI, students will make illustrated books in Mandarin (Pinyin and Characters). You will see what characters our students can write by Mao Bi by pictures here when we finish.
